BEZNAN Basically Timeghoul from another dimension! Coincidental or not, Traumasphere followed all the same ingredients to create an obscure death metal demo with unique sci-fi flavouring. Amidst peculiar compositional arrangements, strange guitar techniques, slower spoken word passages and atmospheric sequences, Voidcall is something I thought I'd never find again. This is a touch more thrash than Timeghoul but nonetheless fills that same twisted hole, although I desperately wish there were lyrics... Favorite track: Organic Brain Lost in Vacuum.

At first I thought: what old school? But yes, with all this dissonance and technicality there's old school underneath with all its wretchedness. Would love to see them live in some dark small smoky venue. Eh.

This is dark and twisted death metal with old school roots,

This demo composed of 5 compositions was initially recorded more than 17 years ago, and released very confidentially on CDr format... It is now finally rematerialized on tape for your morbidly epileptic pleasures!

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal
